Background

Several of China's leading energy storage equipment manufacturers commissioned us to export containerized lithium-ion battery energy storage systems (BESS) classified under UN3536. The cargo originated from multiple inland cities across China and needed to reach numerous door locations across inland Europe via river-sea intermodal transport to European base ports, then onward road transport.

• 7-document package prepared per shipment: MSDS, DG Packaging Certificate, Maritime DG Declaration, Port Filing Approval, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, and Transport Contract.
• Pre-audit of all documents by our in-house DG specialist before submission to authorities, performing cross-checks on UN number, proper shipping name, and packaging group for consistency across all documents, which is the most common point of error.

2. Customized Multimodal Transport Plan

For inland-origin cargo, we designed an optimal "inland transport + river-sea intermodal + European inland delivery" routing for each factory location, achieving true door-to-door closed-loop delivery.

• Inland collection: Truck or barge from factory to major Chinese port (Shanghai/Qingdao/Tianjin), depending on the factory's location and cargo dimensions.
